How do you describe a Barrett?  Not an easy

task to do, however, for those who've been given

this website to view, chances are that you'll already

know us at one level or another, which goes a long

We're a family that loves adventure, enjoys pizza movie nights on Fridays, enjoys the outdoors and getting in it as much as possible, and believes that love has no race, color, or age.  Some of us would say that we dislike car rides and have an unquenchable desire to know how much longer it will take to reach our destination.  Some children would describe us as animal lovers, or creative, enjoying the opportunity to sketch the world as we see it around us.  We're also very athletic and enjoy sports, along with being musical and creating songs.

Our faith is not viewed as compartmentalized and placed within a ranking of priorities, rather, it permeates every aspect of what we do and who we are.  At it's simplest, we're a family that's trying to understand how to integrate our faith and love in Jesus Christ with all that we do.

This is what has led us on a six year journey of praying and seeking out opportunities to be involved in a compassion based ministry, leading us to Emmanuel's Wish Foundation.  We have met with the leaders of our church and, with their blessing, are being sent by Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie into this ministry.  Click here to view Harvest Bible Chapels endorsement letter.

Matthew 25: 35-40

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’  “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
